Find the Perfect Alternative to Box Hedging

Box moth caterpillar has devastated hedges across the UK, but there are resilient, beautiful alternatives.

The box moth, Cydalima perspectalis, is a new alien species from East Asia. It has spread across Europe in the last 10 years. Its damage to British gardens was first noticed in 2011, though adult moths were seen in 2008. I had heard about serious local outbreaks before, but didn't see its full damage until it wiped out all of the box hedges in Darwin Park, Lichfield.
